Students are paired with a Themba Tutors educator based on learning style, personality, and academic needs.
STEP 3: READABLE ENGLISH INSTRUCTION
Students work through targeted reading intervention using the Readable English system to strengthen decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
STEP 4: BUILD SKILLS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR AHEAD
With consistent support throughout the summer, students develop stronger literacy habits, improved confidence, and greater readiness for academic reading demands.
Helping Older Students Feel More Confident & Capable
"The glyphs and the different exercises are very deliberate and effective. Naomi gets excited to see her word score go up weekly. The portal user experience is intuitive and a great fit for our family. We are fortunate to have found this program and excited about sharing our positive experience with other families."

"Readable English has been a game changer for my students. I love that students are working on decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Their confidence has increased dramatically. When a high school student works on lessons at home and shares the program with their family, you know that you have found a dynamic program. Students are able to see their own growth and are proud of themselves. That makes it all worth it."
JESSICA GALLA
HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
"My son really struggled with English and subjects that involved having to read significant amounts. Readable English has made a world of difference - he is now confident to read aloud and understands the meanings of words as well."
