There are specific parameters in place to make sure students are receiving the correct PM passages before resetting can occur.
Parameters have been put into place when allowing teachers to reset their student's Oral Reading Fluency PMs. The PM has to be the most recent PM and it must be graded first before being reset. In addition to that, the PM has to have been completed by the student within the last 14 days.
