Three 1 minute passages for Benchmarks & One 1 minute passage for Progress Monitoring
Students will read three 1 minute passages for the Oral Reading Fluency Benchmark assessment. Unlike the Reading Comprehension assessments which are scored automatically, the Oral Reading Fluency assessments are required to be listened to and scored by the teacher.
After the BOY Oral Reading Fluency Assessments, students are recommended to take one, 1 minute Oral Reading Fluency Progress Monitoring every two weeks.
To grade the Oral Reading Fluency assessments, you can do so by going to the ORF Panel in the learning portal.
